Bio

Belinda R. Johnson, a Partner at Clendening Johnson & Bohrer, P.C., practices in civil litigation and concentrates on complex commercial litigation, insurance law, and personal injury law. Belinda is experienced in State courts trying complex business dispute matters as well as contract disputes and personal injury claims. She excels in the management, understanding, and handling of complex matters involving substantial documentary evidence and electronic discovery. Belinda also represents companies and individuals in front of the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court.

Belinda was awarded the 2018 Women in the Law Recognition Award from the Indiana State Bar Association’s Women in the Law Committee. This award is given to honor women attorneys in Indiana who contribute to the advancement of women in the legal profession, serve as role models and mentors, and have influenced women to pursue a career in law, and for contributions to the legal profession. She was also designated by her peers as an Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Star^® in Civil Litigation – Defense for 2013-2015. She is active in the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, and served from 2019 thru 2021 as a Member of DTCI's Board of Directors..

Belinda grew up in Posey County, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Evansville, cum laude, with a B.S. in Legal Studies. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is also a 2002 Fellow of the Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO).
