Bio

Lauren Koffler O’Neill is a trial lawyer whose focus is on cases involving medical professionals and healthcare providers. She has a wide range of experience litigating civil matters in the state and federal courts and is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. A founding member of MacNeill, O’Neill, Riveles & Spitzer and one of the firm’s five partners, Lauren graduated from Seton Hall Law School where she was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review.

In 2021, Lauren was invited to become a fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers. This honor was the result of a highly selective process which seeks to identify top trial attorneys nationwide who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Less than 1% of the attorneys in the state of New Jersey are awarded this honor. Lauren is also a current member of the American Board of Trial Attorneys – New Jersey Chapter, a former trustee with the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, and a former member of the District X Ethics Committee for Morris and Sussex Counties.

Since 2007, Lauren has been included in the list of New Jersey “Super Lawyers”, which is published annually in New Jersey Monthly magazine. She has also been recognized by Super Lawyers as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in New Jersey. In addition, Lauren has been named to the lists of both America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, and the Association of America’s Top Lawyers.
