Angela M. Lavin is Partner and General Counsel with Wegman Hessler Valore and serves as the Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice includes litigation, trial advocacy, and discovery counsel services with an emphasis on business litigation. With over two decades of legal experience, Ms. Lavin has deep expertise in contract disputes, employment litigation, product liability defense, and protecting businesses from trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition. Ms. Lavin has argued before the Ohio Supreme Court, the Eighth District Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has also served as discovery counsel for key clients, providing strategic guidance on the preservation, collection, and production of information critical to litigation matters. Her expertise in electronic discovery protocols and information technology has established her as a sought-after speaker on topics such as legal holds, evidence admissibility, social media discovery, and ethical considerations in electronic evidence handling.
