Bio

Philip V. Sumner is a trial lawyer whose civil litigation practice is focused on the defense of insurers and their insureds in a variety of matters including construction deficiencies, product liability, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, uninsured/underinsured motorist, extra-contractual liability and premises liability. He has tried multiple cases to both juries and judges and is licensed to practice in courts in Missouri, Texas and Arizona.

Philip graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with honors. Before joining Foland, Wickens, Roper, Hofer & Crawford, Philip worked for Gallagher & Kennedy in Phoenix, Arizona.
