Laura V. Mac Ban is rated AV “Preeminent”® by her peers in Martindale Hubbell. She has 29 plus years of extensive experience in all facets of litigating medical malpractice, professional liability and complex tort cases, including serving as lead counsel in jury trials, arbitrations, hospital administrative due process hearings, and mediations. Since 2011, she has been selected Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, Top 100 Litigation Lawyers in Arizona in 2014 by the American Society of Legal Advocates, Arizona Top Lawyers in 2014 and 2015 as published by The Arizona Republic, selected Premier 100 Trial Attorneys for 2014 – 2016 by the National Academy of Jurisprudence fka American Academy of Trial Attorneys and America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators for 2018. She was also selected as a Woman of Outstanding Leadership by the International Women’s Leadership Association for 2015. Laura is licensed in both Arizona and Colorado and admitted to the Arizona Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the State of Colorado. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. She received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Arizona in 1988. She is past President of the Trial Practice Section of the State Bar and formerly served as President of the Tucson Defense Bar. Laura has represented individuals and business entities in multi-million dollar claims.
