Bio

Jeffrey R. Clark is a partner at the law firm of Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho, PLC. He focuses his practice on municipal law, insurance defense, and litigation and appeals. He maintains an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating an attorney can achieve for both ethical standards and legal ability.

Mr. Clark has extensive complex-litigation experience, including representing municipalities, professionals, and professional corporations. He counsels and defends municipal clients in all aspects of municipal operations and devotes a substantial portion of his practice to planning and zoning issues for municipalities throughout the state. Additionally, he successfully defends physicians, pharmacists, and other professionals in state and federal trial courts, courts of appeals, and the Supreme Court.

He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Clark is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Master Lawyers and Government Law sections); State Bar of Michigan Character and Fitness Committee; Oakland County Bar Association; Metropolitan Detroit Bar Association; Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys (MAMA); Defense Research Institute (DRI); Association of Defense Trial Counsel; Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC); and Insurance Alliance of Michigan (IAM).
