Bio

John P. Connors, Jr. is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Georgetown University Law Center. After starting his career investigating and trying cases in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office John joined his father where, after 8 years of “mentoring”, formed Connors and Connors, PC. Over the next 20 years John had the good fortune of growing the firm and serving the bar as Chair of the New York State Bar Association Trial Lawyers Section, President of the Richmond County Bar Association, Chair of the Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commission for the Second and Thirteenth Judicial Districts and current Chair of the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh and Thirteenth Judicial Districts, selected by The Honorable Randall T. Eng, Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division Second Judicial Department. In addition, John was selected by The Honorable A. Gail Prudenti, Chief Administrative Judge of the State of New York. as one of only 40 members of the Commission on Statewide Attorney Discipline. Today Connors & Connors, P.C. represent a variety of clients in cases alleging negligence in the construction, ownership, maintenance, management and control of commercial and residential properties; negligence in the ownership, operation, maintenance, renting and leasing of vehicles; negligence in the dispensing of prescription medication; negligence in providing security services at academic institutions, hotels, hospitals and municipal facilities; negligence in the design, manufacture and distribution of products, and negligence in the hiring, training and supervision of employees. Given our diversified client base, our cases are venued throughout the Greater New York Metropolitan area.
